Why "50 Women in Business"?

Why now?

  • In 2022, I embarked on my very first campaign "40 Over 40", where I photoographed 40 women over 40 in a course of a little over a year.

  • I thought I was looking to empower women, but instead I was the one forever changed by their stories of overcoming adversity and hope.

    I was hooked.

  • In that time, I realized that my personal journey is tied in to my work as an artist.

    This is round 2 of my campaign series where this time, I am looking to photograph 50 Women in Business.

  • The next leg of my personal journey is overcoming hurdles as an entrepreneur by putting myself out there authentically and unapologetically.

    This is the key to standing out in the digital market today.

  • As I seek to level up my own business, I continue to look for my tribe of women, stepping into their purpose.

    During your pre-session consultation, we’ll go over your likes, dislikes, and desires for your session. We want to do everything we can to plan a session that’s going to give us both the results we’re looking for. Our pre-session consultations last 30 minutes.

    On the morning of the photo shoot, you’ll be introduced to our professional hair & makeup artist. We’ll consult with you on how you wish to wear your hair and makeup. You’re amazing and no detail is too small to make this a perfect day for you.

  • ✳ Full Service Guided Photo Shoot 10am-2pm

    You will enjoy a full, expertly guided magazine-style photoshoot. Oh, and if you’re not photogenic? Nonsense! It is not your job to be. I’ve got you! It is my job to connect and make you comfortable, to show you in your best light with flattering posing.

Marjorie Dizon is a lifelong photographer who thrives on connection with women as she searches for connection with herself.

She fell in love with photography in the darkroom in middle school and has experienced photography through the years as it transitioned to digital photography.

She has worked in photography studios for over two decades.

The culmination of all of those experiences as well as her own personal journey of self-love, brings forth the vision of Dizon Photography, a labor of love and strive for personal excellence and service for women.

At 49 years old and a business owner, she wants to not only provide the resources out there for women just like her, but she also wants to be a source of confidence, self-love, self-discovery, and a sense of belonging.
