PHONE CALL MEET & GREET
This is the first step in our journey! We will discuss the type of portraits you are hoping to have done and the style you prefer.
This is the point at which we book your session fee and set a date for your photo shoot.

PLANNING & CONSULTATION
Our outfit consultations are 15-30 minutes and happen 1 week before your photo session on Facetime. I can help you finalize your choices and suggest items.
Everyone is unique for their photography session. It’s important to me that I really understand what you want to get out of your session and that I can give that to you.

PHOTO SHOOT 10am-2pm
Get ready for the fun part! It all starts with a pampering session with my experienced hair and makeup artist.
During our session, we’ll go through a variety of sets and I’ll teach you everything you need to know about posing to get that picture-perfect look for your portraits.
Plan a night out afterwards because you will look and feel amazing!

REVEAL APPOINTMENT
1-2 weeks after your session, we will set up an appointment to choose your favorites! Prepare to fall in love with them all!
We’ll go through all of the pictures, narrow down which photos you absolutely love, and pick out products that match your wants and needs..

It has been about 30 years since I have been professionally photographed probably because of my modeling experience when I was younger and it kind of detoured me from getting back into it just because of the harshness of the business itself... yeah. We don't think of ourselves enough to just have a portrait of us for ourselves. The main reason I'm having a portrait taken is that right now I feel healthy and I want to have a picture of me for my family for my memorial. I was just at a friend's funeral and it was a lovely picture of her - a portrait of her - and I wanted something similar for myself.

I got really emotional because I haven't seen myself that way in what seems like forever. I don't have time to do the beautiful hair and makeup that they did and pose in the way that she helped me pose so I got really emotional. Time right now isn't something that i have much of and it felt really special and it's something I'll be able to show my kids down the road and they'll be able to remember me that way also.

40 sessions are available for this project and applications will be reviewed. If this round is full, you will be automatically considered for the next round in 2027. It is not a competition, I want to photograph anyone who is authentically interested and invested in themselves and the community around them. Since there is a limited number of slots, your answers may be a determining factor.

I recommend booking 1-2 months in advance.

The 40 Over 40 session fee is $399 and is paid in full in order to secure your session date.
Each client has different product needs, from albums to wall art.
The average client spends $1500 - $5000. What you buy is totally up to you. You don’t have to choose until your ordering appointment.

During our consultation, we will finalize the 4-5 outfits that you will be doing. Check out my Pinterest Board for ideas or browse my portfolio for inspiration. While you are on Pinterest, feel free to create one to share with me so that I can see what your dream session looks like. In this case, a picture really is worth a thousand words!

Please note there is a set of stairs (indoors) you will need to go up so if you need assistance or unable to go up stairs, please inform me beforehand.

Digital images and prints are similarly priced. Each image you purchase comes with its corresponding web size digital.
You will get the best value with printed products, but I do have digital only collections available.
WHY 40 OVER 40? Why now?
As someone who has worked with women most of my life, I have an intimate knowledge of all the ways we are mean to ourselves. A lot of times we don’t even realize it, and suddenly one day it’s been 10 years, 20 years since you had photos taken… memories and stories that one day your loved ones will look for. It’s time to stop hiding and just go for it! I look forward to meeting you!
